  • Augmented Reality Interface development
  • Developing AR applications
  • Tracking and Registration for Augmented Reality
  • AR user testing and evaluation
  • Alternative AR displays
  • Wearable Augmented Reality
  • ...

Half day tutorials should be taught for 3 1/2 hours, while full day tutorials will be for 7 hours, plus a lunch break.

Please submit a tutorial proposal that includes the following:

  • Tutorial Name
  • Tutorial organizers and contact information
  • Biography of the tutorial presenters and their qualifications
  • Whether it is a half or full day tutorial
  • Teaching schedule (topics and times they will be taught)
  • A 300 word abstract describing the tutorial
  • A 2-4 page detailed outline of what will be taught
  • 4-6 sample slides showing the material to be taught

Please send tutorial submissions or requests for more information to:
Mark Billinghurst. The deadline for submissions is 5pm Pacific Standard Time on June 4th. Successful tutorial organizers will be notified by the end of July.

In return for presenting a tutorial, presenters will be paid an honorarium that will cover some of their travel and conference costs.

In addition to tutorials, ISMAR organizers are interested to hear from people who may be willing to organize a half or one day workshop. Contact Mark Billinghurst for more details.
